PRIVACY POLICY FOR APPLICANTS At KKT Holding GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 208, 37520 Osterode as well as its subsidiaries KKT Frölich Kautschuk-Kunststoff-Technik GmbH, Norsystec Nohra-System-Technik GmbH, KKT Pressig GmbH and Elastica GmbH, we care deeply about privacy. For this reason, data processing will only be used in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations. KKT will only use personal data for recruitment activities, to process data of potential candidates; and lateron, for a potential work relationship. No other processing of your personal data shall apply. Personal data is any form of data which can be used to identify an individual, natural person. It means all data and information that an job applicant will provide us with. We collect and process the following personal data of a job applicant: name, first name, date of birth, place of birth, country of birth, address, nationality, owner of a Green Card, telephone number, email address, curriculum vitae (i.e. information of previous employers, school education, vocational training, degree courses, further training), qualifications, references, if necessary data of spouses or registered partners. The above mentioned data will be processed as follows: finalizing the employment contract including identification and communication with the job applicant, e.g. to answer his/her questions, to invite him/her for an interview, to send a rejection letter, to settle disputes, and to assert, to exercise, or to defend legal claims. For this purpose, we process your personal data on our legitimate interest. We process your personal data to find suitable candidates for vacancies at KKT. Legal cause for data processing is article 6 (1) (b) and (f) of the data protection rules. Personal data will be kept confidential. Your personal data can be accessed by relevant KKT departments such as recruiters, hiring managers, KKT employees directly involved in your job application process, works counsel or other HR functions involved, and legal, compliance, data protection or integrity officers to the extent strictly necessary to fulfil their respective tasks. Your application will be presented to works council if you are hired, or in the application process to protect their rights. Applications which are also eligible for positions at other sites will be forwarded within KKT Group. At any time, you may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. However, upon withdrawal, your job application and personal data for the current application process can no longer be considered. Your personal data can be accessed by courts, tax authorities, and supervisory authorities as long as this will be required and legally permissible according to applicable law, or to raise, to practice, or to defend legal claims. However, we’ll take all necessary actions to ensure confidentiality and protection of your personal data. No personal data will be transferred to third parties, unless required by law, or by contract (e.g. travel bookings), or takes place in your own interest. A third party is an external individual or an external entity, who/which processes personal data not on our account. When data will be transferred to third country recipients (outside of the EU/ European Economic Region), transmission only occurs if the European Commission has reached an adequate data protection standard, or if we have agreed on contractual warranties with the recipient to guarantee an appropriate data protection standard. If we hire you, your personal data will be retained for processing the employment contract as well as for the duration of your employment subject to legal regulations. If we do not hire you, your job application will be deleted from our system six months after rejection at the latest; unless legal provisions of KKT prohibit such deletion. In this context, a legal provision is for instance the burden of proof in a proceeding according to General Act on Equal Treatment. Affected rights: right of information, correction, deletion, or limitation of your personal data, right to object as well as right to data transfer. Upon request, we will inform you according to applicable law, if and what personal data will be stored at KKT. Furthermore, you are entitled to demand limited data processing of your personal data. You may also request to receive your personal data provided to us in a structured, common, and machine readable format. You may also object to data processing of your personal data at KKT. Moreover, you are entitled to demand deletion of your personal data, provided that legal retention periods will be kept. If you agree to processing your personal data you are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time in future. However, previous data processing does not become illegal, if you withdraw your consent.
